Creality's newest additions to the Halot-One series of 3D resin printers, the Halot-One Pro and the Halot-One Plus, forgo the Parallel Emission technology in use in most resin printers in favor of the in-house developed Integral Light Source technology.

Integral Light Source technology uses reflection and refraction to work with the help of five LED lights with four emission chips per LED. The increased number of LED lights and emission units provides redundancy. So, if one light unit fails, the overall print quality doesn’t suffer.

Creality claims that its Integral Light Source technology offers enhanced lighting intensity, super precise printing, and excellent lighting evenness compared to the traditional Parallel Emission technique.

For instance, the new Halot-One Plus can achieve a lighting intensity of 4500uw/cm² with more than 90% surface evenness.

Before we discuss the benefits offered by the Integral Light Source technique, we must see the drawbacks of using the conventional Parallel Emission technology.

Parallel Emission technology uses a UV LED matrix to produce light. Understandably, if one or more LED units in the matrix stop working, it increases surface unevenness and decreases the precision of the final print.

Furthermore, the joints in a 3D print reflect the light in a Parallel Emission environment, resulting in increased unevenness.

Creality’s Integral Light Source featured in the Halot-One series solves both problems. Per the company’s internal testing, where Parallel Emission only achieves 73.4% surface evenness, Integral Light Source can produce up to 94.05% evenness.

Similarly, printers outfitted with Integral Light Source can reach a remarkable accuracy of 99.73% compared to 99.27% achievable with Parallel Emission.
